I am working through the NAMD tutorial on my Mac OS 10.5 through my
bash terminal. Up to 1.4.2 everything seemed fine. I tried executing
namd2 and encountered problems.
1) I cannot execute the namd2 executable while in the 1-2-sphere
directory. I have to .. back to the directory where the namd2
executable is located to use it. Is there away to make the namd2
executable global?
2) When I try to run the simulation using the configuration file
provided by the tutorial I receive this message-
------------- Processor 0 Exiting: Called CmiAbort ------------
Reason: FATAL ERROR: ERROR(S) IN THE CONFIGURATION FILE
Charm++ fatal error:
FATAL ERROR: ERROR(S) IN THE CONFIGURATION FILE
Abort trap
I did not modify the configuration file in any way. What is wrong and
how can I fix it?
Thanks for the help,
Corey
