Hi VMD community,
This is the first time I am using hte Windows versio of VMD. Unlike the
Linux and Mac versions, the Windows version can only open up from the VMD
directory in Program Files. So, one has to browse through the file system
each time to load structure/coordinates/trajectories. Loading more files
(eg., adding a dcd to a psf) also requires one to browse through. This
aspect is most problematic when writing out files (pdb files, for
example)----the files only get written out into the VMD directory under
Program Files!!
I was wondering is anybody has figured out a way to get around this.
Thanks and regards,
Neelanjana
