Ramon:
I have just installed the ATI drivers under openSUSE 11.1. This took a
huge amount of effort because when the installer fails it doesn't say
anything about it on the screen. You need to look at the file
/usr/share/ati/fglrx-install.log. There are most likely a slew of error messages
that you will need to address. The ATI drivers are designed to be installed
from the .run file directly. Do NOT attempt to use Yast or build the
system-specific rpm files. Read the Catalyst installation instructions very carefully;
there are a slew of pitfalls.

Hi,
I'm guessing you're running Linux, although you don't say specifically.
If so, what version are you using? Are you able to run "glxgears"
successfully on this machine? What version of VMD are you trying to run?
Cheers,
John Stone

I got no error messages but the graphic window simply doesnt come. I had tried to install the ati-driver-installer-9-6-x86.x86_64.run update but nothing has changed.
