I downloaded vmd1.8.7, but I couldnt find the Hbond plugin. I looked at extensions -> analysis but couldnt find a plugin for Hbond. Am I missing something here ? or the plugin is at some other place.

it is part of vmd-1.8.7. why not just upgrade?
you get tons of bugfixes, improvements and
new features for free with it.
