dear all

when I use the 'quick-surf' drawing method and 'throb'
coloring method (not very tasteful, I admit)
I get thousands of message like so:

which is Ok, but makes the vmd console pretty useless.

Is there a way to suppress these messages, or to redirect
them somewhere else and keep the console active, e.g. to
see the results of a query?
