The cheapest way to experience stereo is to watch VR movies on 
YouTube using a cell phone and a $5 to $10 viewer that clips on to 
the phone.  You can make such movies using VMD and upload them to 
YouTube, and then with a cheap viewer for a cell phone you should be all set.
