That could be a Windows issue.

Do you mind checking if that also happens if you try rendering using a

# Rotates by 360º in 100 frames.
for {set i 0} {$i < 100} {incr i } {
  rotate y by 3.6
  set filename [format "snapshot_%05d.tga" $i]
  render snapshot ${filename}
