Hi,
For purely Tcl scripting related questions, the best place to go first
is to the Tcl home page:
http://www.tcl.tk/
>From there, you can read all kinds of Tcl related documentation.
I personally recommend that you familiarize yourself with the basics
of the Tcl language.
You'll also want to visit the Tcl Wiki here:
http://wiki.tcl.tk/
For more VMD-centric things, the Tools menu and all of that are
described in the VMD User's Guide:
http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/vmd-1.8.3/ug/ug.html
