  You should be compiling the plugin like this:
g++ main.c graspplugin.C -I../../include -o gp
c++ main.c graspplugin.C -I../../include -o gp

The fact that you're missing the -I directive makes me wonder if
you're using an out-of-date molfile_plugin.h file.

The compilation commands should complete with no errors, and no warnings:
johns_at_dallas{53} c++ main.c graspplugin.C -I../../include -o gp
